This session will outline the key features of ACER’s new assessment: PAT Science. PAT Science will help educators better understand students’ science skills so they can target teaching where it’s needed most. This launch of PAT Science includes PAT Teaching Resource Centre content to assist teachers utilising and incorporating science practices in the classroom. The session explains how and why the new assessment was developed and explains how teachers can read and analyse their students’ reports.
